Affiliate Stations


The C.A.R. Show is heard in nearly every state and on over two hundred radio stations worldwide every weekend. Since times vary from city to city, please check with your local station for the broadcast time. If your local talk radio station doesn't carry the program, call the Program Director or Station Manager and ask them to begin airing The C.A.R. Show. Your vehicle will thank you!

StarGuide Technical Information


The C.A.R. Show is transmitted via StarGuide. Be advised that this is a direct satellite feed provided by The C.A.R. Show and is separate and apart from the network's signal. You can tune in to our programs on StarGuide as follows:


Satellite Coordinates:   ABC Starguide Carrier
                               AMC-8, Transponder 23
                               Freq: 099000khz
                               Rate: 12288000BPS
                               VIT: 2/3


StarGuide Coordinates:   A) Provider: ABC NY
                                  B) Service: ABC STEREO 00 (tune to the left channel)

Times:   The C.A.R. Show: Saturdays, 9:00am EST (actually 9:06:30am - 10:58:50am EST)

Some helpful information:

For Starguide, parameters are "Provider" + "Service" (Channel which may include Left or Right.) The ABC Carrier has Three Providers: 1. ABC News 2.ABC Radio 3.ABC NY

All of ABC Satellite Services feeds are under the 'ABC NY' Provider. If you are not on the correct provider, you won't see the listing of the appropriate services (audio channels).

After you select a port (i.e audio card) the first Menu Tree item is Provider and that must be set to 'ABC NY'. Next menu tree will then be Service. The affiliate may then scroll to pick up correct channel needed.

PROVIDER MENU:      Select 'ABC NY'
SERVICE MENU:       Select ‘ABC STEREO 00’
                            Select 'Left channel to receive The C.A.R. Show’


The StarGuide III receiver will automatically tune to the satellite and transponder if your receiver was provided by ABC Radio Network or ABC Satellite Services. You only need to select the provider and channel on the receiver.

Affidavits (Proof of performance): Notorized station affidavits are due by the 10th of each month. You may choose to fax, mail or e-mail completed affidavits to us.
